Warranty and Returns
WARRANTY
We guarantee La Sportiva Products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original buyer for one year from the date of purchase. There is no implied life span for our products due to the many variables that affect footwear. This warranty does not cover wear and tear or extend to any La Sportiva product that has been resoled, repaired or otherwise modified. Only original La Sportiva materials and workmanship are covered under this warranty.
If you have a La Sportiva product that you think should be considered for warranty, please take it back to the store where you purchased it, with your dated receipt. The retailer will then contact La Sportiva for a return authorization.
Once we receive the product from the retailer, La Sportiva may repair the product, replace the product, or return the product as is if it is decided that the problem is not covered under our warranty policy. La Sportiva cannot replace products due to incorrect sizing if they have been worn outside, used on indoor climbing walls, treated with a waterproofing product, or are not in brand new condition.

RETURNS
If you have purchased a product directly from La Sportiva NA, Inc., you may return it to us for a complete refund of the purchase price (not including shipping fees) as long as the product is in factory fresh condition. Sorry, but we do not take back worn or used product. Please call us for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and ship the product back to us. See items 1-3 below for specific instructions.If you have a La Sportiva product that you think should be considered for warranty, please take it back to the store where you purchased it, with your dated receipt. If this is not possible, or if you have purchased the product directly from La Sportiva NA, Inc., then please call us for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and ship the product back to us with your dated receipt. Please follow the steps below once you have received a return authorization number. La Sportiva will not accept products without an authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the box.
1) Please enclose a letter including your name, street address for shipping (no post office boxes), daytime and evening phone numbers, e-mail address, and tell us why you have returned the product and what you would like us to do.
2) Send your package via UPS, certified mail, FedEx or any traceable shipping method. We recommend that you insure your package against loss enroute to La Sportiva. We cannot be responsible for packages until they arrive at our offices. La Sportiva does not reimburse for shipping costs, and we do not issue call tags.

All warranties and returns are typically processed within 2-3 weeks of receipt of product. You will be contacted if something delays this process, such as a repair or a backordered product.
