Since 2007.

What are some of your lifetime climbing goals?

Make an impact that other climbers can enjoy, always push my limits and never retire.

Do you have a claim to fame?

I can sudoku like its nobody's business. I'm making that a verb...sudoku.

Do you have any vices?

Putting excessive pressure on myself and consuming excessive amounts of cookies, but I think I'm all the better for both.

What makes you tick as a climber and in the real world?

My desire to be the best I can be. It's motivation and a curse, but the outcome is generally positive.

What drives you to climb? The money? The groupies? The fame? What?

The nights spent out under the stars with raw skin, aching muscles and a giant smile, waiting to relive the dream all over the next day.

What is your favorite movie?

The Bourne Identity-he just keeps coming back..

What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep? Why?

Not impressively long-probably 48 hours for international travel.

If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?

You can't beat Colorado, but if it was Alabama at least you could sing about yourself

What did you have for lunch yesterday?

Probably something really healthy, like some cookies

If you could hook up a thought monitor to your head, would you see pictures, hear words or would music be playing?

Definitely pictures. Vibrantly colored pictures.

What really scares you about climbing?

Knowing the full weight of improvement and ability is my own responsibility. Thats also what makes this sport better than any other.

If your life was made into a movie, what would it be called?

Looking through Balderdash cards, the best movie title I found was "Has Anyone Seen My Pants?"

Where would you live if it could be anywhere in the world?

A teleporting flying saucer so that every crag would be "local". But I would park it high in the Colorado mountains on rest days.

Have no food or have no gasoline?

I'd give up gasoline. I need at least 7 meals a day.
