Do you clip bolts, plug cams, stack pads, or crush ice?

I am a route climber who primarily enjoys pushing the difficulty of climbs. I have plugged cams, explored the alpine, crushed some boulders and dabbled in competition climbing.

How long have you been an athlete with La Sportiva?

Since 2009.

What are some of your lifetime climbing goals?

I want to climb 5.14, do one big wall, boulder double digits. I also want to give back to the community in some way, helping others achieve their goals. Last year I wanted a world ranking and I finally achieved that!!

Do you have a claim to fame?

I've participated in the World Cup for both bouldering and sport climbig; I've had a few female first ascents at my local crag; I have a first free ascent in Vietnam, and did the first female ascent (third ascent party, not free, my first ever alpine climb) of a classic Alpine route (Der Sportsman) in the Cascades. I travel and climb all over the world.

Do you have any vices?

Ice cream , chocolate and all you can eat sushi. I also like to do a lot of things and can be juggling too many things in life at once.

What makes you tick as a climber and in the real world?

I have good self discipline and an abnormal drive to aim high for success. I believe in aspirations big or small and that determination and dreams get you far in life.

What drives you to climb? The money? The groupies? The fame? What?

I enjoy the challenge of a climb, the satisfaction of taking on said challenge and the multi-faceted nature of the sport. I especially appreciate the quality of most climbers I meet everywhere around the world. The people, the atmosphere, nature, rock, and me. Life couldn't be better.

What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep? Why?

If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?

Arizona. I just like the name.

What did you have for lunch yesterday?

If you could hook up a thought monitor to your head, would you see pictures, hear words or would music be playing?

I'd probably fry the monitor with sensory overload on all fronts!

What really scares you about climbing?

Falling. If you never fell, you'd always be safe so falling introduces an element of risk. Of course, if it means falling into water, well, then I don't like that even more. Water and I don't get along.

If your life was made into a movie, what would it be called?

Audrey the explorer.

Where would you live if it could be anywhere in the world?

Spain

Have no food. I need to be on the move.

Do you wish you had sexier feet?

I try not to think about my feet, but I've come to enjoy the occassional pedicure. My current nail polish is purple.
