I clip bolts, plug cams and stack pads! I put ice in my drinks....

How long have you been an athlete with La Sportiva?

This is my second year with this amazing company.

What are some of your lifetime climbing goals?

I hope to be a well rounded climber, continually pushing my limit in each of the disciplines. I want to climb all over the world, see the amazing destinations and meet amazing people along the way. If I can accomplish these things I'll be a happy climber.

Do you have a claim to fame?

I'm annoyingly psyched all the time.

Do you have any vices?

After a good day of climbing I insist on having a canned (not bottled) Mountain Dew and a honey bun for the drive home.

What makes you tick as a climber and in the real world?

Passion. I have to be passionate about a line. If I really want it then nothing will stand in my way. I think that goes for my real world pursuits as well. I'm all or nothing.

What drives you to climb? The money? The groupies? The fame? What?

Definitely the money! I mean, I'm running out of room to put the boxes of money I get each year.

What is your favorite movie?

Fight Club or Dumb and Dumber. Can't choose between the two

Do you have any nicknames? Explain:

Bambi. I earned this nickname working as a waiter at Barley's Taproom in Greenville, SC. My first busy lunch shift my friends said I looked like a deer in headlights.... and because one day I'll be the king of the forest. :)

What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep? Why?

3 days. I wanted to see how long I could go without sleep and still function.

If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?

North Carolina

What did you have for lunch yesterday?

2 stinger waffles, pro bar, a cigarette and a GU pack.

If you could hook up a thought monitor to your head, would you see pictures, hear words or would music be playing?

I think it would be a combo of random images rapidly flashing to the beat of some good DUB.

What really scares you about climbing?

How many people take for granted that this amazing art/sport can kill you at any given moment. I think people have lost respect for the mountains....and gravity.

If your life was made into a movie, what would it be called?

"Keepin it Simple"

Where would you live if it could be anywhere in the world?

Out of my suitcase.

Have no food or have no gasoline?

No food. I could still drive to the crag and bum food of my buddies.

Do you wish you had sexier feet?

Nah.... my feet are sexy, and they know it.
