The RST has a long tip and tail for additional float in soft snow while retaining effective edge grip and easy turning ability on hard steep snow. Its light construction and its confidence inspiring progressive flex are well suited for demanding steep terrain.  Often referred to by our team as the budget minded rando race ski.

+ Lightweight Karuba wood core is stiff, poppy and lively and is FSC/PEFC environmentally certified and constructed without the use of toxic adhesives

+ Lightweight Tri-Axial and Bi-Axial fiber laminates keep it stiff without the heavy steel layers that no one wants to lug to the top of the mountain

+ Reinforced tip and tail attachment holes accept La Sportiva HiGlide precut skins and can be used for building anchors or an emergency rescue sled

+ Flat tails are easy to plunge into firm snow when ski mountaineering and useful for isolating Rusch blocks in snow pits
