ABOUT ME: 

Climbing has been a central part of my life ever since my 8-year-old curiosity led me to get my mom to take me to Sportrock Climbing Centers, near my hometown of Arlington Virginia. I keep coming back to this sport because of the many unique challenges it offers, the amazing people I’ve met, the amazing places it has taken me, and the person it has allowed me to become. I also continue to climb, because climbing allows me to show both myself and others that anything is possible if you choose happiness and never give up.

Sep 2021 | Sent my first 5.14, Proper Soul in the New River Gorge
Mar 2022 | Was the first female to climb Trebuchet 5.14b
Apr 2023 | Sent Thug Life 5.13d at the Red River Gorge 
Jul 2023 | Vice National Champion at USA Climbing Youth National Championship 
Aug 2023 | Competed for Team USA at the IFSC Youth World Championships in Seoul and made Semi-Finals
Sep 2023 | Sent my first 8a/V11 boulder, making the First Female Ascent of Lawless Extra in New River Gorge

Q+A:

Who's your favorite climbing partner?

This is a hard question, but I’d have to say my mom. Even though she doesn’t climb herself, she has always been incredibly supportive of me and my climbing. She has belayed me on practically all of my projects, and I couldn’t ask for a better adventure buddy.

What's your go-to hype song?

I love everything by Hozier! I’ll say Take Me To Church, because it’s a classic.

What was the first La Sportiva product you tried?

I got my first La Sportiva product when I was 8 years old. It was my first pair of shoes, the La Sportiva Mythos! I’ve changed shoes a lot since then, but I’ve always stuck with La Sportiva’s unmatched quality.

Which charity/advocacy organizations do you support or belong to?

I am incredibly grateful for and support the New River Alliance of Climbers (NRAC) and The Access Fund. They’ve done such important work to protect areas that have positively shaped the lives of so many people, including myself.
