ABOUT:

Hello! I’m Tammy. I’m a trauma nurse currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I absolutely love my dogs. I was born and raised in Southern California, where I spent most of my free time snowboarding, often staying at the local resorts for more than eight hours a day. It was through winter sports that my love for the mountains first began to take shape. Eventually, I made the move to the Eastern Sierra, settling in the small town of Mammoth Lakes to fully pursue that passion. Shortly after moving, we experienced one of the worst droughts on record—and that’s when I found climbing. My first time climbing was outside in Payahüünadü, the land of the flowing water (Bishop), and I was instantly hooked. The landscape, the movement, and the fresh perspective on the mountains I called home left me completely inspired. Fast forward a decade, and while life has taken me to Las Vegas, my connection to the mountains hasn’t changed. I still spend most of my free time climbing—especially limestone, which has become my favorite—along with exploring new terrain whenever I can. I like to split my time between ultra running, snowboarding, peak bagging, and climbing, always chasing that feeling of being out in the wild. La Sportiva has always been my go-to for both mountain and climbing footwear, and it continues to support every adventure I take on.
