Nate Pierce is a rock climber originally from Columbus, Ohio who eats far too many mini M&M’s. 

“What motivates me to get out to the mountains every day, is the freeing energy that I get from climbing. Life is full of unexpected roadblocks, setbacks, & harsh realities. Though when I’m climbing, all of those obstacles fall away, & the only thing on my mind is the rock.”

Who is your favorite climbing partner?

My favorite climbing partner is my friend Marina. Even though she climbs much more difficult routes than myself, having fun, good chemistry, & feeling safe with your partner/belayer is just as important to me as what gear I need to bring on a climb.

My first La Sportiva shoe was the Tarantula.
