ABOUT ME:

Growing up in California, I learned to climb on an 80ft redwood tree in our backyard. It was in that tree that I discovered my passion for climbing. Around 7 yrs old, my parents kindly deposited me at the climbing gym, after a 2-week summer camp, I was hooked.

Q+A:

Who is your favorite climbing partner?

I'd have to go with Timmothy Kang. Growing up together in the Bay Area, we spent countless hours in the gym learning to push ourself and critique each-others climbing. His endless motivation and brutal honesty yields improvements from every session.

What is your go-to hype song?

Its always changing but currently, I'd go with N'to - La Clé Des Champs

What was the first La Sportiva product you tried?

Theories. Immediately hooked.

Which charity/advocacy organizations do you support or belong to?

POW (Protect Our Winters) and Climbing for Change are both amazing organizations. POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places they live and love from climate change. Climbing for Change's mission is to connect underserved communities with individuals and organizations that seek to increase minority participation in rock climbing and the outdoor adventure industry.
