ABOUT ME:

I grew up in North Vancouver British Columbia and now call Squamish home. I climb deeply for the movement, the friendships it has provided me, and the chance to explore some of the most mind-bending places on earth.
La Sportiva, quite simply, just has the finest footwear on earth for what I get up to, and I couldn't have climbed what I have without these shoes.

Oct 2012 | The Prophet on El Capitan, Yosemite. 5.13+ R, with Dave Allfrey.  
Aug 2015 | The FFA of the Tom Egan Memorial Route on the East Face of Snowpatch Spire, Bugaboos. 5.14, with Matt Segal.  
Aug 2017 | Link up of all three west faces of Howser Towers, Bugaboos, in a day. 5.12+, with Leo Houlding. 
Aug 2021 | The first ascent of Heavy Fuel on the Squamish Chief. 5.13+ R.  
Aug 2022 | The first free solo of the East Face of Snowpatch Spire, Bugaboos, via the Beckey-Mather route. 5.12-.

Who is your favorite climbing partner and why?

Hard question but I'd have to go with Sonnie Trotter.  Consistently positive, funny as hell and strong as they come.

Which charity/advocacy organization do you support or belong to?

Squamish Access Society.  I've also been involved in taking First Nations youth out climbing through Arc'teryx.
