ABOUT ME:
Hailing from Boulder, CO, Annie is an all-around mountain athlete who has loved playing outside and competing in sports as long as she can remember. After making a miraculous recovery from a 200ft fall on Longs Peak in 2020, she transitioned from an athlete who is inspired to push the envelope in the mountains to one whose risk tolerance is a lot lower and prioritizes the relationships you can develop through them a lot more. She loves witnessing her relationship with the mountains evolve through the different phases of life. Depending on the season, you can usually find her skimo racing, crack climbing in the desert, backcountry skiing, sport climbing, or running up the steepest mountains she can find.
She is known by her friends as 'optimizing Annie' because she enjoys fixing broken gear and dialing in on the technical skills and logistics of race planning and adventuring. She loves La Sportiva gear because it is highly technical and 'optimized' for all her adventures. She also works full-time as a data engineer.
